You will need a private Shopify app with the access rights below. If you already have an existing app created with these rights, you can share those existing credentials:

Products - Read Access
Orders - Read and Write access

How to find the product Variant ID:

1. Open admin
2. Go to Products.
3. Open product page
4. Change the URL from example https://site.myshopify.com/admin/products/1433958678583 to https://site.myshopify.com/admin/products/1433958678583.json

https://site.myshopify.com

This will get you a JSON with all the product details.

You will have a product ID and a variants section, you can find the variant ID.
